The fact that the Indian Muslims are woefully lagging behind socially, economically and educationally from the other section of society, prompted the formation of the Azam -e- Hind Educational and welfare Society in the year 2007. The primary aim of the society was to promote educational and scientific temperament among the downtrodden section of the society in general and in the Muslims in particular. Therefore, an ambitious plan was chalked out to establish schools, colleges, including the paramedical and nursing colleges, polytechnics and other job oriented training centers to uplift the unprivileged section of the population. By the grace the Almighty, the society began its mission in this direction by establishing the Al- Hidayah College of Education at Aligarh in 2013. The first course that was started the B.Ed course with seventy four students and seven faculty members only. Ten percent (10%) of the seats were reserved for the financially poor Muslims. Hectic efforts on the part of the management led to the timely recognition of the course from NCTE, Jaipur and affiliation to the college from the Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh State University, Aligarh. At present, the college successfully runs the B.A, B.Com and B.T.C., courses in addition to the B.Ed. course.

The College is progressing at a brisk pace with more students enrolling in its courses each year and new infrastructure being built to meet the requirements. Special emphasis is given on creating a harmonious atmosphere for the acquisition of knowledge, skills and overall development of the personality. The management takes extra pains to recruit qualified faculty who are well- versed in their subjects and field.
